1. Who we are
Muscle Fuel is operated by Muscle Fuel Foodstuff Company Co. W.L.L., a company registered in the State of Kuwait ("Muscle Fuel," "we," "us," "our"). We provide a meal-subscription service for customers in Kuwait through our website musclefuel-kw.com and our iOS and Android mobile apps (collectively, the "Service").
This policy explains what personal information we collect about you, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect
Account & contact information
- Name, email address, mobile number, and password (passwords are stored hashed; we never see your plain-text password).
- Gender, date of birth, and language preference.
Health & nutrition profile
- Height, weight, activity level, dietary goal, and any allergens or food preferences you choose to share.
- This information is used solely to recommend a suitable meal plan and to display your daily calorie / protein / carb / fat targets in the app.
Delivery details
- Delivery address (governorate, area, block, street, building, apartment), delivery time slot, and any delivery notes you provide.
- Approximate map location for the delivery point if you grant location permission.
Order & payment information
- Packages you purchase, payment method chosen (KNET, Apple Pay, Visa / Mastercard via MyFatoorah, or Taly installments), order amount, promo codes used, wallet balance, and cashback earned.
- We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Card data is handled directly by our payment processors.
App & device information
- Device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, and a non-resettable advertising identifier (only if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS).
- Crash logs and diagnostic reports.
- Push notification token (so we can deliver order updates and offers).
Usage analytics
- Screens you open, packages you view, sign-ups, logins, checkouts, and purchases. We use this to understand which features matter to customers and to improve the Service.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account, recommend meal plans, and fulfil your orders.
- To arrange delivery and assign drivers to your address.
- To process payments, refunds, and wallet / cashback credits.
- To send transactional notifications (order confirmations, delivery updates, password resets, receipts).
- To send marketing offers and promotions — only if you opt in. You can opt out at any time from inside the app or by tapping the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- To respond to your customer-support requests.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- To comply with applicable Kuwaiti law and respond to lawful requests from regulators or law enforcement.
4. Third-party services we use
We share the minimum information needed with the following service providers. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

5. When we share with delivery partners
To deliver your meals, our drivers receive your name, phone number, delivery address, time slot, and order contents for the day. Drivers may contact you on the phone number you provided if they need help locating you.
6. International transfers
Our service providers listed above may store and process data outside Kuwait — typically in the European Union, India, or the United States. We rely on the safeguards each provider has in place (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data during transfer.
7. How long we keep your data
- Account & order records: for as long as your account is active, plus up to 7 years after the last activity to comply with Kuwaiti accounting and tax requirements.
- Health & nutrition profile: until you delete it from the app or close your account.
- Crash logs & diagnostics: up to 90 days.
- Marketing data: until you unsubscribe.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time — see Section 9 below.
8. How we protect your data
- All traffic between your device, our apps, and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS (TLS).
- Passwords are stored using a one-way hash; nobody at Muscle Fuel can read them.
- Card details are tokenised and handled by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. We never store full card numbers.
- Access to production data is limited to a small number of authorised engineers and is audited.
No system is 100% secure. If a security incident affects your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
9. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: view and update your profile, address, and health data inside the app at any time.
- Notifications: turn off push notifications from your device settings; turn off marketing emails from the unsubscribe link.
- Tracking: on iOS, deny App Tracking Transparency permission to limit advertising-identifier sharing.
- Account deletion: contact us at info@musclefuel-kw.com from the email address on file and we will delete your account and personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or tax reasons.
- Complaints: if you believe we have mishandled your data, contact us first; you also have the right to complain to the Kuwaiti regulator.
10. Children
The Service is intended for customers aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (such as keeping you signed in), analytics, and marketing measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may break parts of the site.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
